The Environment Public Authority headed the delegation of the State of Kuwait to participate in the fifth meeting of the Conference of the Parties COP 5 on the Minamata Mercury Convention of the United Nations Environment Program - Geneva 2023. The delegation also participated in discussing the decisions put on the agenda before adopting them and entering into force and adopting some proposals regarding including mercury compounds among Banned substances and a discussion of sources of mercury releases into the environment.
